  • Try out the motor-less treadmill.

  • TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES!

  • Try the treadmill again. Is it easier in shoes or bare feet?

  • What is different between the shoes at TRT vs your shoes?

    • Which has the wider toe box?

    • Compare the soles. Which is thinner? More flexible? Which has a higher heel?

    • Which one is lighter?

    • Which one do you think makes feet stronger? Why is this important?

What is your favorite part of the store? What healthier choice can you make this week?

Get on the course: Pick a spot on one of the courses to visit. What makes that place special? Does it have historical significance? Take a picture and tag us at @FREEDOMSRUNWV or #FREEDOMSRUNWV with what you’ve learned! We may use your photos for future race materials! No social media? Email us at FreedomsRunRD@gmail.com

Run or walk 1 mile: You can run the 1-mile Kids Fun Run on Race Day for free!

Got to Events at https://www.freedomsrun.org/ to register. You can also find free community meet-ups on the Two Rivers Treads website, or run on your own. What was your pace?

Go the distance: There are 5 different races in this run! How long would it take you to run each distance at your 1-mile pace? What are the records and who holds them?

Volunteer! A large event like this requires LOTS of volunteers of all ages. Sign up for 30 minutes or more. We have a few opportunities before and after race day! Freedomsrun.org/volunteer.

Results: Find out about one of the programs that have benefitted from the event. Through the Freedom's Run Grant, we've been able to donate over $400,00 to our community. Check out the About page on the website for info.
